Simple Radial Array Geometry Node
This is a very simple geometry node network that allows you to very easily create radial arrays.
The vanilla blender method is very tedious and hard to work with as you need to use an empty and an array modifier to create the same effect. This outdated method is cumbersome and hard to use. BUT NO MORE!
The node network simply rotates instances around the origin point of the selected object. To my current knowledge, I have not found a radial array geometry node modifier that uses the origin point as rotation. Using the origin point as the rotation is best suited for most modeling situations.
You can now very easily copy and paste the same network to other objects without worrying about locators.
Instructions:
-Apply modifier to your desired object
-Set the amount of rotation you want and on what axis (this addon has the ability to set a end point, for example dont need to always create a full 360degree array, you can create a 180degree array by setting your desired axis to 180 degrees)
-Set the amount of instances you want.
-If you need to collapse the modifier down, just set the instances to "real" under the geometry tab and apply the modifier.
-Enjoy never fearing radial arrays in blender again.
